Small groups with a specific field of interest are also very welcome. Are you looking for an astonishing view to paint and center your trip around art? We can arrange that. Whether your special interest is about photography, art, poetry, birds, geology… We’ll make sure that in and around Ulvik you will get a great special interest experience.
Besides the huge abundance of fjords and therefore saltwater fish, the region of Ulvik also offers a large amount of lakes with freshwater fish. We can take you up to one of the mountain lakes together with a kayak and fishing gear so you can try your luck there. Our kayaks are well equipped for fishing trips and have a stable design for hoisting in fish. There is no better way to leave all your thoughts behind and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings and if you are lucky you might just catch a nice trout.
It might come as a surprise that also birds love Ulvik as a holiday destination. Because of the huge variety in terrain and vegetation you can come across many different species. From water birds on the tidal grounds in Ulvik and Osa to birds of pray high up in the mountains. In short…bird watching enthusiasts can have an excellent day!
